Congress does not need to wait for SCOTUS to determine the future of Dreamers. Their lives have been in limbo for too long. We must put pressure on Trump & Rs to do the right thing.

.@SpeakerPelosi: Millions of immigrants, including hundreds of thousands of DACA recipients, are risking heir lives on the front lines of the pandemic. They deserve our support. This moment highlights a need for justice in America, including justice for our immigrants.

.@SenSchumer: HR6 keeps families together and provides relief to those who live under the constant fear of deportation. Immigrants contribute to enriching our culture & communities. They are American on every way but on paper. And the majority of Americans are on our side.

.@SenatorMenendez: The Trump Admin has put DACA & TPS in their crosshairs. I urge Sen. maj to join us in passing #HR6 so recipients have permanent protections. It would be disastrous, a self-inflicting wound, to deport Dreamers & TPS holders. This is their home. They belong here.

Luz Chavez Gonzales, a DACA recipient: I first found out I was undocumented when I was a junior in high school. When I applied for DACA, my whole life changed. That's when I began organizing my community. Since COVID-19, I've become the sole provider of my household.

.@NydiaVelazquez: It's more important than ever before than #HR6 be passed and signed into law. During the COVID-19 pandemic, immigrants have been on the front lines. In NY, there are 12,500 TPS holders who hold essential jobs. They should not be living in fear & uncertainty.

TPS holder Elizabeth Valencia: I work in a nursing residence, in a COVID wing. That means I'm touching patients. I cannot drink water. But I really love what I do. If they take out TPS, I would have to do something else. And I've given my life to these residents.
