It demonstrates the strength of our movement that the Government has already conceded to one of our Housing is Health campaign demands - extending the eviction ban until August 💪
But this is why we can't let up the pressure - we know many tenants are still at risk, trapped in arrears and in rent debt, threatened with bogus eviction notices. Our union won't stand for it ⛔️
We're shifting the balance of power by fighting with our members for rent reductions from their landlords, and joining together to campaign for the Government to cancel rent debt so no tenant is left in the lurch ✊
Organized renters are winning - and we won't let the Government just kick evictions into the long grass. We'll keep fighting and training up our members to build our power and defend our communities 🤝

And don't forget to come along to our next All Member's Meeting on Wednesday 10th June at 6:30pm to plan the next stages of our #HousingisHealth campaign: facebook.com/events/1777607…
