Rare event: Chinese launch with live stream coming up at ~02:11 UTC Tuesday/10:11 p.m. Eastern tonight. The Beidou satellite to complete the 35-sat navigation/position system to be launched by a Long March 3B from Xichang. Streams:

So, a rare stream to launch the last Beidou sat, after a 100% record for Beidou launches. This is more than likely a one-off rather than policy change. Also note that the normally reliable launch vehicle, the CZ-3B, had a failure on April 9, but the issue was identified & sorted.

The Sun has just set at Xichang. Launch window is 02:11 - 02:50 UTC Tuesday (10:11-10:50 local), with launch expected near the start of the window. live.bilibili.com/10921840?visit…

Still very surreal to see a stream for a standard Chinese launch...running hours ahead of liftoff. live.bilibili.com/10921840?visit…
