Why a narrative approach? In short, the agri-food sector is immensely complex and diverse. There is no universal solution to the wide-ranging set of challenges it faces (and arguably we are better off with a diverse set of solutions).
Why protein? In short, this essential macronutrient serves as a window into the complex and interrelated challenges we face in the agri-food sector: food insecurity and malnutrition; environmental damage, a range of injustices, destabilizing market forces…
