I've been meeting a lot of really nasty and unpleasant people in animal crossing: new horizons lately. I wonder what it is?
I just went to someone's island (they were advertising a villager diy and free fossils, weeds, etc) and the villager house was all the way at the back of the island. When I got there he quickly took all of the stuff lying on the ground up (which is fine, I just wanted the diy)
and then followed after me on the way to the villager's house. I got the diy and got lost trying to get off the island and was halfway to the airport when they said they had to go. I said "okay leaving now" and continued trying to get to the airport.
Then they asked me why I was taking so long and what I was doing.
Huh?
I said I was trying to get off the island from the villager's house. They said oh, okay. I have to leave.
Like.....??
Why even open up the island and invite people if you are immediately going to kick them off? Especially when they were already trying to leave peacefully?
