CSS & the right to education
1/12 The earliest memory of this term CSS that I remember is Ist year of college when a relative told Abu on a family gathering " Naveed ko CSS ki tayari karwao na. I am sure he can pass" #CSS2019

2/12 I didn’t paid attention as my 150% attention was towards cricket, but somehow it remained on back of my mind as I was not seeing any future in cricket due to lack of support or zero support. from family I talked about it with a college mate &his immediate response was,

3/12 " CSS is reserved for the superior class of our society we live in"
This is a boy who was a son of a Lance Naik &hence studied with me at FG public school...who scored enough marks in matric to be part of any good college in surroundings instead he ended with me in Commerce

4/12 College Because mujhey MBA kr k 2 saal may AVP banna tha as I saw my father's
4/11 last few days at his office as he was giving charge to a young MBA & how that guy will occupy the seat of my father for which he worked 30+ years. #CSS2019

5/12 so,I was by choice in Commerce college & he had no option as commerce college considered to be the last option for everyone'
This is a boy who use to give tuitions to class 9th & 10th when he was in 10th...A boy who topped some essay writing competition held in ISB #CSS2019

6/12 A boy whose academic & sports trophies at his modest family quarter was source of inspiration for me & I use to envy.
6/11 Here I am seeing a complete lost boy who has given hope on everything. Yes, I went to university for BBA & MBA but unfortunately, #CSS2019

7/12 he couldn’t attend university as a regular student owing to poverty. I will never forget its impact on my life. he has to support a family, So all his exams were private after that. There may be an example of a person who qualified CSS examinations while #CSS2019

8/12 living in extreme poverty, but according to a survey more than 90% are those who belong to the elite class or upper class. a fairytale story of humble backgrounds a rarity. Rural primary education does not prepare students, because of their poor educational background,

9/12 to join the civil service. So, the right to education is for the elite only whose children attend modern schools’ colleges &, thereafter, occupy superior positions to rule the poor.
There is no doubt that CSS batches are the cream of our country. but somehow privileged #CSS

10/12 The most brilliant minds who are willing to make impact on society but with nothing on stake in because their financial & social backgrounds, they hardly produce the desired results. some people might not agree with me #CSS2019

11/12 but there are lots of brilliant minds who are facing socioe-conomic crisis & we lose them every year. Raees Afridi was one of them. yes, my friend Raees Afridi is one of them who is a school teacher somewhere in a village hoping to make a difference. #CSS2019

12/12 I have no idea how we can save such brilliant minds & help this Godforsaken country develop a system based solely on merit rather than based on social status & family background. #CSS2019

PS. I intend no offence to anyone who might get triggered seeing the words ELITE, UPPER CLASS, PRIVILEGED . #Peace #CSS2019
