5. However trust in news varies a lot by political leaning in the US

๐Ÿ”ต 39% on people on the left trust most news most of the time
๐Ÿ”ด Only 13% on people on the right do

6. Across the 40 markets covered by the report, more people are concerned about false or misleading info from politicians than any other sources.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ 43% of right-leaning Americans are concerned about misinformation from journalists. Only 35% about misinfo from politicians

7. Given the choice, the majority of people across the 40 markets covered say they prefer news that at least tries to be neutral.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ This preference is not so strong in the US, where 30% want news that share their point of view

8. Trust in news in the US is one of the lowest worldwide.

29% of Americans say they trust most news most of the time. A figure similar to ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ and much smaller to ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น (56%)
