Using #TeleICU guided by the above protocol (earlier version), @RangappaPradeep and team guided half of Karnataka districts to have much enviously low CF of 0.54, less than the state average CF of 1.54.

#Bengaluru Has the third largest CF in the country and worsening the indicators for the Karnataka state. When the state has implemented the #TeleICUs and reduced deaths in other districts, why not Bengaluru city is not adapting it?

The irony is that the same state has the best model in the country of teleICU while Bangalore is heading towards poorer outcomes. This is despite the fact that Bangalore has the best health infrastructure compared to rest of Karnataka. Reasons are complicated.

Apart from this model, KMC Manipal and Medical college in Kalburgi have done well in implementing their own protocols. Why is then the #Bengaluru hospitals aren’t that successful? What do you think are the possible solutions? It’s time to get our act together in Karnataka.
