This could be helpful.
It was a speech I gave at the reception of a wedding ceremony.

1.
You are starting a journey today where many have failed.

Where many have been frustrated

Where many are nursing regrets

Where many wish they never started.

2.
You're starting a journey where many have also succeeded and wish they had started earlier.

In all, the choice is yours.

It's Yours to make it work.
It's yours to make it heaven on earth even as God intended it to be.

3.
It's yours to make it work if u will always give God d chance to help u from today.
It's a teamwork
It's yours to increase d level of patience u think u have, d level of tolerance & perseverance u think u have, b/c, now, your real journey begins.(The real you becomes revealed)

4.
I won't say its a journey to d unknown b/c, dat will b putting u on d path of probability.
God's blue print is there. It's d bible.
u know where u are goin once God is given charge over your new home.

Now, let's see how this works.

And getting into one of the boats, [the one] that belonged to Simon (Peter), He requested him to draw away a little from the shore. Then He sat down and continued to teach the crowd [of people] from the boat.  When He had stopped speaking,

6.
He said to Simon (Peter), Put out into the deep [water], and lower your nets for a haul.  And Simon (Peter) answered, Master, we toiled all night [exhaustingly] and caught nothing [in our nets].

Notice Jesus used plural. Nets
Luke 5:6-7 (KJV)

7.
6[And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.]

Peter came to fish at the right time.

It was at night, and every good fisherman knew that the best time to fish was the night time.

#Peter had the right team.

8.
He was with fellow fishermen. He was with James & John. It was a combination of skills.

Peter had the right tool to fish.
He had a boat and a fishing net.
Nothing was lacking.

Everything he needed to fish was in place, but somehow, even with everything in place,

9.
Peter and his team and tools all failed to deliver.

He confessed, " Lord, we've toiled all night with nothing to show for our efforts.

Then, Jesus steps in.  He asks for Peter's boat.

10.
Jesus needed his boat for ministry purpose, & Peter knowing he had nothing to lose, willingly surrendered his boat to d Lord.

Afterall, what is d use of d boat, if all I did with it was to toil all night.

Now, When Jesus stepped in, a miracle happened.

He gave a command

11.
A command from an "amateur" fisherman seemed ridiculous at the time, but this "amateur" fisherman was no ordinary man.

He was God, and Peter said "But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets [again].

12.
And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking, They signaled to their partners in d other boat to come & take hold with them. And they came and filled both d boats, so that they began to sink(Luke 5:3-7 AMP)

13.
Recall that all those Peter called where his erstwhile competitors

Brethren, Jesus in your boat, attracts favour

You may choose the right time
You may choose the right place
You may choose the right team
You may even have the right tool

Without Jesus, it is bound to fail.

14.
You need to factor In the right things

The right team member, Jesus.

However, Jesus in your boat does not guaranty a life or a journey without ups and downs, but one thing is certain, He will take you through.

He was in the boat again with Peter when this happened...

15.
On that same day [when] evening had come, He said to them, Let us go over to the other side [of the lake].  And leaving the throng, they took Him with them, [just] as He was, in the boat [in which He was sitting]. And other boats were with Him.  And a furious storm of wind

16.
[of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled.  But He [Himself] was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You

17.
not care that we are perishing?  And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush

now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its  beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness).  Mark 4:35-40(AMP)

18.
With Jesus in your boat, marriage, business, finances etc, challenges would still come

With Jesus in your situation, it may look or appear that there is no hope, but, I bring you good news today, no storm can taken you down.

He was there at the wedding in Cana

19.
He is in there with you.
He is there till the end.

Per adventure you are far from Him, it's time to get back in line and get on your knees again, and if you don't ve Him in your life, it's time to invite Him.

20.
Without Jesus in your boat (life), you ll have nothing to hold on to when great storms come.

Halelluyah to Jesus and happy married life.
