To address this India must set up strong institutions for public complaints, awareness and participation. Additionally, it is imperative TRAI and DoT implement technical network assessment tools which empower users and reduce information asymmetries.

Additionally we highlight that an advisory multistakeholder body must serve the public interest and mitigates risks of industry capture. We proposed TRAI consider passing an overarching regulatory framework.

Finally, our response stressed on the fact that net neutrality does not hinder innovation even in domains like 5G. We also urged TRAI outlaw the use of invasive techniques like deep packet inspections (DPIs) and content filtering tools.
