#UyyalawadaNarasimhaReddy was Indian freedom fighter. He was born in Rupanagudi, Uyyalawada Mandal, Kurnool. He & his commander-in-chief Vadde Obanna were at heart of rebellion against British in 1847, where 5,000 peasants rose up against EIC in Kurnool.

#UyyalawadaNarasimhaReddy was caught as British moved in upon a tip-off & arrested him & his followers at mid night of 6 October 1846. He was charged with revolt, murder & was convicted on all charges. He was publicly hanged on 22nd February 1847.
