As the country marks the 3rd month since KENYA imported COVID-19; please take note that the ENTERPRISE has not done KENYANS any good. Kenyans are suffering, and are hopeful that you are planning to relax movement restrictions put in place by your ADMINISTRATION

Even with restrictions of movements, MORE Kenyans continue to get the virus. The NUMBER of Kenyans TESTED & found +VE stand at 7886 people. These NUMBERS are not new infections but +VE cases coming to light due to enhanced TESTING regime within the Country.

The ELEPHANT in the ROOM is not about stopping the SPREAD of COVID-19! The disease is already spreading among Kenyans, even with lockdown & curfew in place. You now face TWO evils & must endeavor to choose the lessor of the two evils!

The question you should to consider is:
Does your ADMINISTRATION need to continue LOCKING DOWN Kenyans, amid escalating FINANCIAL MISERY in the name of CONTROLLING a disease which is already SPREADING among community in spite of lockdown & curfew in place?

You need to consider the following THREE issues;

▶ Whether, containing the SPREAD of Coronavirus through lockdown & curfews would be beneficial in the long-term, vis-a-vis opening up the ECONOMY which continue to take a beating nationally & at household level.

▶ Whether, locking down the entire economy is cost effective than identifying & developing appropriate public health protocols to take care of persons living with preconditions making them vulnerable to contacting Coronavirus.

▶ Whether, Kenya is prepared to handle COVID-19 emergencies resulting from COVID-19 fatalities which have been minimal so far, but is likely to shoot up in the coming months.
