Armed Forces personnel from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force will take part in ceremonies at #DameVeraLynn's funeral today.
Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir Nick Carter has paid tribute to Dame Vera on behalf of the Armed Forces.
General Sir Nick Carter said: “Dame Vera Lynn’s stirring performances brought comfort and joy to personnel serving far from home and lifted the nation during the darkest of times. The Armed Forces will forever be grateful to Dame Vera Lynn for her service."
