Zinnia Jones is an online trans activist who advised dysphoric minors in a 2018 tweet and detailed article to obtain cheap alternatives to puberty blockers to "circumvent" parents who didn't agree.

What, you might ask, is Jones' current position on that 2018 advice?

In responding to a tweet by @jk_rowling yesterday, Jones doubled down.

Interestingly, another trans activist, older and more experienced than Jones, pointed out yesterday that the puberty blocker alternatives Jones wrote about not only might be dangerous--but wouldn't in any case be appropriate for adolescents.

Here's an excerpt from Jones "advice" article, which Jones continued to push yesterday for "trans adolescents" about MPA, the drug Oatc called "very bad indeed."

To recap: For over 2 years, Zinnia Jones' Twitter account & website have actively promoted the idea that minors should obtain cheaper alternatives to puberty blockers--drugs that a more knowledgeable trans activist calls "very bad indeed." Here's Jones on Twitter yesterday:

Why does this matter? Because Zinnia Jones has been given an undeserved platform as some sort of expert on "trans youth," including in such respected publications as @TheAtlantic .

Here's Zinnia Jones' article on "low cost alternatives to puberty blockers for trans adolescents" in all its archived glory.

Three minutes ago, in the same thread with @jk_rowling . Why should Jones' voice be listened to when discussing female detransitioners, any more than Jones' pontificating about hazardous drugs minors should use behind their parent's backs?
