1. It’s not often that one is given special treatment by an authoritarian regime. Patrick Chinamasa’s rambling statement is a poor attempt at obfuscation; literally creating dust to no avail. Instead of creating a straw man, those who got State loans must #PayBackTheMoney
2. Claiming I’m attacking Land Reform is cheap politicking to deflect attention. Chinamasa is just making a loud noise without addressing the core issue: Political elites took public funds with a duty to pay back, which duty they failed to meet, transferring the debt to taxpayers
3. They were not ready for this moment & the statement suggests it was made by someone in a state of disorientation & bewilderment. As I have said before, Chinamasa & the ZANU PF cabal are conflicted because they were the principal beneficiaries of the Farm Mechanisation Scheme
4. Instead of attacking me & the BSR, many in ZANU PF should be thankful that at long last they now know the very few among them who were eating on their behalf & on behalf of everyone else. They can now see that while they got very little or nothing, very few had everything.
5. It’s utter madness for those with nothing to be defending this looting in the name of Land Reform or to be hoodwinked into believing that this egregious looting is somehow part of Land Reform. The majority should be getting together to demand that the elites #PayBackTheMoney
