Today in #Rakesden...
Salvia flowering modestly, obviously being found tasty by something.
Echinacea also getting munched and not doing much. I wasn't sure what to expect this year though for any of the summer perennials, whether they'll really need a year to establish the root system to perform properly over a full season.
The achillea are starting to reach up though, with some promising budding at the top it looks like. And these are the ones I'm most excite about, tbh.
And we have the first flowering beginnings on the delphinium.
Marjoram coming into flower in Undercherry now.
And the self heal is rather nicely timed with the lavender in Langshaw.
And that was today.
