I was going to get all defensive with some of the shade being sent my way, but no...here's why.
Juno (sp?) is my nephew's dog. 'C' is one of 3 boys born in our extended family in 2008 and those 3 cousins have been pretty tight even though they live several hours apart. My son, Isaac, is the middle of the three.
J, the youngest, lives on Vancouver Island, and at 11 years old has already survived cancer. 'C', the oldest, just turned 12, has already experienced a significant episode of mental illness and was diagnosed with a form of psychosis, which was terrifying for all involved.
Juno, has been a massive help to C, who still experiences anxiety at a pretty significant level. So Juno really is the goodest of girls. I'm going to hook her up with some ham for supper.
She got her ham.
