Some bleeding obvious:

1) It's illegal to identify an alleged rape victim
2) ID can be things other than naming them
3) If IDing him can ID her, even by circuitous means, it will never happen without her waiving anonymity

Plus
4) Naming suspects before charge has, of late, been frowned upon (See Sir Cliff for details)
And most obviously

5) Suspended an MP from their party publicises their name. They become listed as an independent. It cannot therefore be done without IDing him.

And if you didn't figure it out already - this one is a total mess, and it would not be in anyone's interests to stymie a fair investigation or trial. It would be a good idea, all round, if media outlets could agree on/be given guidance by @IpsoNews.

Because waiting for the govt to be clear or competent about anything at all will take a very long time.

And put that in your #ToryRapist Twitter experts pipe.
