All I'm sure are dedicated lawyers w/in their practice areas - but it's doubtful they are all qualified for the job. Also, I know of at least two others who are strongly considering the race. /4
Last thing to remember: in the Democratic primary (tantamount to election in Manhattan), whoever gets a plurality wins. With nine candidates, that's theoretically 12%. (Of course, the field will be winnowed down by the election in June 2021.) /5
