#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम - Farmers of India under the banner of @aikscc All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee are launching on historically significant August Kranti day, on August 9th, with a clarion call for corporations to Quit Indian Farming, with 9 key demands.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम - 1. Scrap the 3 ordinances that instead of solving farmers' problems, will exacerbate them & put them straight into the stranglehold of big agri and food players. There are many things seriously wrong with each of them! @PMOIndia-they need to be withdrawn

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 2. Table and enact the AIKSCC Bill to make remunerative prices as a legal entitlement of all farmers for all agricultural commodities.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 3. Table and enact the AIKSCC Bill to make freedom from indebtedness as a statutory right of all farmers. Farming is the riskiest enterprise out there, and do not have double standards for indebtedness and bankruptcy b/w sectors.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 4. Scrap the Electricity Amendment Bill 2020. Govt should also waive the electricity bill of farmers, small shopkeepers, small and micro entrepreneurs and small business people as long as the Covid-19 pandemic does not recede.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 5. Compensate Farmers for the Losses Suffered this Year: Your government should provide full compensation to farmers for losses of vegetables, fruits, crops, milk and poultry produce due to hailstorms, unseasonal rains and lockdown in February-June 2020.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 6. Reduce Diesel Prices Immediately: Diesel prices have to be decreased by half immediately. International prices have decreased by 60% since 2014, but the rates fixed by your government have increased twice.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 7. Increase the Employment Days under MGNREGA: MGNREGA should guarantee at least 200 days of employment under the scheme. Wage rates should be fixed at minimum wages so that agricultural labourers, small farmers and retunring migrant workers.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 8. Provide Full Food Rations to Every Person in Addition to Cash Support to Households: Food grains produced by the hard work of peasants of the country can be used to ensure that no Indian remains hungry.

8. During the entire period of the corona virus crisis, govt should provide every month 15 kgs of cereals/millets, 1 kg of edible oil, 1 kg of pulses & 1 kg of sugar per unit. Additionally, cash transfers should be arranged for all households for other basic needs to be met.

#कर्जा_मुक्ति_पूरा_दाम 9. Protect Land & Forest Resources of Tribals & Other Farmers.Prohibit Companies from Acquiring Agricultural Land: Govt should not uproot farmers tilling the land for over a generation. Forcible planting on forest land in name of CAMPA Act should be stopped
