"We deeply regret the unfortunate and undeserving tweets by the Carnatic musician, T M Krishna, when the entire Nation was rejoicing, on 5.8.2020, the Bhoomi Pooja celebrations of the Shri
Ram Mandir at Ramjanmabhoomi - Ayodhya following the orders of the Supreme Court.
Indians all over the globe have considered the day as memorable, which would evince patriotism irrespective of caste, creed and gender.
We feel ashamed of these tweets made
by T M Krishna and consider them as anti-National. We express our protest to all those who love India, through this letter.
We, at Mani Krishnaswami Academy, feel that T M Krishna's irresponsible statement deserves most severe condemnation, as it has hurt the true
feelings of artists and rasikas who most reverentially refer to Lord Sri Rama as an epitome of Indian Culture.
We regret such irresponsible, anti Indian behaviour & our committee has decided not to host any such artists in the future.
