Last year we asked our election candidates to support a new ad regulation regime to ensure all ads in public spaces are free from images and messages that are unsuitable for kids - especially images + messages which sexually objectify women.

We said the Code + self-regulation were failing our communities.
We urged them to consider evidence of the real-life harms of sexually objectifying portrayals of women.

We recently asked the House of Reps Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs to revisit its 2011 call for a self-funded co-regulatory system if the self-regulated system failed to clean up its act.
