From preparation till presentation ya.

Actually for #TaskB's preparation, sebaiknya dibuat while #TaskA is going on. Waktu other candidates present, listen & understand & jot down notes. So that nak buat #TaskB jadi senang skt.

#TaskB needs you to discuss & argue of the 4 choices, ideas, ways, etc; which is the best?

Other words might be used like "most appropriate", "most effective", etc..semuanya sebenarnya membawa maksud "the best".

This means that all the 4 ideas, ways, etc that you talked abt in #TaskA are GOOD, ok.
And so, of all 4 good ideas, ways, etc; which is the BEST?

Alright, so during the preparation time for #TaskB, do this:

1. Of the 4 options, choose the one that you like the best.
2. List down all the positive/good points (2, 3 or 4) of this option of your choice.
3. Then, look at the remaining 3 options & ..

.. list down the negative/ bad aspects of each one of them (2 for each).

Ok, that's what you do in the 2 mins preparation time for #TaskB.

In #TaskB later, use the good points of your option to support your choice, and the bad points of each of the remaining 3 options to rebut.

Eh lupa pulak letak soalan utk #TaskB.

Ok, let's say you like (i) - 'Make and sell greeting cards' best.

So maybe you would have 2 positive points for this as given below:
P1: The greeting cards are not easily perishable - can be kept after production and sold later
P2: Cards can also be reproduced and resell ..

.. again and again.
P3: The cards are also cheap to be produced & do not need a lot of capital/funding to produce.

So 3 positive points abt your choice of option for #TaskB

You can have 2 or 3 points for your choice of option.

As for the other options, you can give 2 negative points each:

Option (ii) - Sell cakes and cookies
P1: Cakes and cookies are periashable - cannot be kept for a long time if there is no buyer.
P2: A lot of people are selling cakes and cookies - customers might not buy from me/us

Option (iii) - Provide car wash and polishing service.
P1: It is a back-breaking job - cannot do alone - will have to hire workers - no money/capital to hire workers.
P2: Low turn-over - would have to wash and polish many cars to earn a lot of money - takes a long time ..

.. to wash and polish even one car.

Option (iv) - Sell pre-loved items.
P1: Items might not be of good quality - already used, old and maybe defective.
P2: Might not be able to sell the items - many people prefer brand new items.

So using these points, you discuss the best way to earn pocket money.
Use your positive points to support your choice/option.
Use the negative points of other options to disagree with other candidates.

Cuma saya nk pesan, bila buat #TaskB, jgn repeat pattern mcm present #TaskA ya.

Maksud saya, jgn present semua isi & idea smpi habis baru nk pass turn/peluang berckp kpd group member lain

Itu cara yg tak betul ya.

Sbb group discussion ni 10 minit. Dan semua calon ..

.. kena contribute ideas, etc sepanjang 10 minit tu.

Turn atau peluang brckp dlm #TaskB ni akan dtg balik kpd kita sekrg²nya 2 kali atau 3 kali dlm 10 minit tu.
So klu kita dh keluarkan semua isi masa Speaking Turn no 1, nanti kita dh tak ada apa² nk dickp atau ditambah bila ..

.. Turn tu dtg balik kat kita. So please jgn repeat style present mcm #TaskA dlm #TaskB.

Sebaiknya, setiap kali ada Turn berckp, kita keluarkan satu point dulu.

Ingat, kita jg nk kena agree or disagree dgn pendapat org lain & explain kenapa agree/disagree.

Waktu kita agree, masa tu lah kita keluarkan point positif ttg option tu, ..

.. esp kalau pilihan kita sama dgn pilihan grp member kita tu.

Bila disagree dgn sesuatu option, lps explain kenapa (keluarkan 1 point negatif option tersebut), then keluarkan satu point positif yg support option pilihan kita.

Lps tu pass the Turn to next person ..

Use it when :
1. you are stuck.
2. you are finished with your speech.
3. you are not sure or don't know what to say (respond)
