Here's this week's #wethecitizens round-up! You'll notice that it has new art! @feever_dreem made the newsletter a new banner, logo, and portrait photo šwethecitizens.substack.com/p/dormitoriespā¦
We all know 2020 sucks, but it's also the year I decided to take a plunge with #wethecitizens. I've been really encouraged by the response ā thank you everyone! Milo Peng Funders help keep my work independent, and it's also enabled me to devote some time to *writing a book* š¬
After stopping and starting and, at one point this year, essentially deleting 18,000 words I'd written in 2019, I finally feel like I'm on an actual path to writing my book now. And I couldn't have done it without Milo Peng Funders.
Milo Peng Funders' subscriptions to #wethecitizens have freed me up from having to pitch/freelance as intensely as I would otherwise need to. It's given me more time and headspace ā something I just didn't have in the past few years.
It doesn't mean that writing the book is now a breeze, but it does mean that I can devote whole days to it, rather than try to squeeze words out of an exhausted, stressed out mind at the end of a work day. That makes *a lot* of difference.
So this is just a longish way of saying that I really appreciate everyone who has been so supportive. And also that you can become a Milo Peng Funder too at wethecitizens.substack.com
