Last night there was an event which appears to have started with an altercation between a trans woman and some other people in Portland
There is some very disturbing video circulating from it

If you watch closely you will discover half the component clips are under 6 seconds long \2
The video is *sourced* from extreme rightwing accounts who edited it from a livestream they captured
They sliced and diced it to make it tell a 'BLM mob attacks and robs trans woman without provocation' story \3
If you watch it closely the REAL story is much more complicated
They were clearly trying to *deescalate* it with her and were *asking her to leave*. She pulled a weapon at least once on them and the first thing they took from her *was the weapon*. \4
It appears to have escalated from there until it finally reached the point of her backpack and longboard being taken.
*And we don't know what happened after that with her because it was edited out* \5
Unless and until THE UNEDITED VIDEO surfaces we don't actually know what happened \6
What we DO know is that the SOURCES of the video HAVE PUBLISHED DECEPTIVELY EDITED VIDEOS BEFORE \7
