"Can any of us stand here today and claim that our party has remained faithful to the conservative principles" during Trump's term? "No, we cannot," Flake says. "If we are honest there's less of a conservative case ... than there is just a blatant appeal for tribalism."
Flake pivots from warning about Trump to a case for Biden. "We need a president who unifies rather than divides. We need a president who refers teamwork to tribalism. ... He is a good and decent man."
