Today I spoke to a group of devOps that’ll run #THORNodes (notice it’s plural).
They plan to improve the infrastructure design with separate dev vs production environments, CI/CD, Terraform cloud, logging, monitoring, backup/restore procedures, integrate pagerduty
2/ test and break the infrastructure ie individual kubernetes pods, network links, ec2 instances etc to assess network impact (and even more 🤯).
3/ I proposed they push PR’s to @thorchain_org GitLab repos to share their work with the rest of the community.
Although this is a competition between node operators for availability/performance, if the network performs flawlessly then confidence in the network strengthens.
4/ This in turn should drive even-more liquidity as the network could boast its performance stats and oversight from brilliant network devs.
This isn’t a time to outcompete. This is a time to build, earn and build-more with earnings.
5/ @thorchain_org has never been some senseless shill/PnD. It’s attracted some of the brightest minds in crypto, all working towards one common goal: create value.
