THREAD of the political alignment of each of the Real Housewives #RHONY #RHOBH #RHOC #RHOA #RHONJ #RHOP #RHOD #RHOM
1) the RHONY ladies tend to be one of the more liberal casts #RHONY
2) The RHOBH cast tends to be more liberal, although a large number of the ladies try to keep their opinions hidden. Eileen, Brandi and Rinna have been the most outspokenly anti-Trump #RHOBH
3) Unsurprisingly the ladies of RHOC are one of the most conservative casts. Braunwyn is the only for sure Democrat in OC and a huge number of former OC wives confirmed Trump supporters #RHOC
4) You won't find any Republicans in the ATL. Almost every current and former RHOA housewife has spoken out against Trump and showed support for Democrats (except for Wig) #RHOA
5) The RHONJ cast is one of the most politically conservative casts, with many current and former ladies showing support for Trump. Margaret and Jackie look to be the sole anti-Trumpers in Jersey (with Melissa as a big question mark) #RHONJ
6) With close proximity to DC, the ladies of Potomac win the prize as being the most liberal cast and the only cast where every wife has made her political views known. #RHOP
7) Good luck finding any liberals in the RHOD cast. Even as Texas moves to the left, the ladies of Dallas are all Republicans or curiously quiet about politics #RHOD
8) Here's the former wives of Miami's political alignments. A number are registered Republicans but have not spoken out about politics much #RHOM #RHOMiami
NOTE: I tried to be consistent in classifying the wives across all the franchises, but some were more difficult than others. In classifying the wives, I considered mainly political donations, social media posts, statements on the show and in the news, and party registration.
With SLC now premiering, thought I would update with the ladies of Salt Lake City's political views. #RHOSLC
