Democracy cannot be put on autopilot. It requires our constant vigilance and engagement. In CA, where the Far Left spends virtually every waking hour looking for ways to spend our money and to divide us, it is very important for the people to be on guard.
My fellow Californians, we have one helluva problem. While there are many in this once-great State who are trying to cope with an economy that has crashed - increasing bankruptcies, home evictions, unemployment and savaged savings - and they are trying desperately to get back on
their feet, we have a Legislsture that is adding to our misery by trying to “transform” CA. Our Legislature is structured along lines of caucuses based on race/ethnicities. Many of these caucuses believe that Whites have been running the show for too long and, of course, there is
no White caucus, nor do I suggest that there should be, but this claim of White supremacy goes unchallenged. All the while, Prop 16 is placed on the 2020 Ballot to enable the Legislature and other govt agencies to carry out this Transformation Project by discriminating on the
basis of race and ethnicity. The same one who authored Prop 16 is the author of a bill that passed yesterday to study reparations. And, then there is AB 331, a bill that would REQUIRE that ethnic studies classes be mandatory as a condition of high school graduation. The author
[So angry that I lost my damn train of thought] The author of Prop 16 and the reparations bill, was asked about AB 331, the bill to require ethnic studies as a condition of graduation, said she knew that this would make some people “uncomfortable” but that is a good thing, said
she, to achieve progress. I strongly disagree. Perhaps, a good thing in our state college classrooms, but on the streets of America there is too much discomfort right now, and it is leading to many very bad results. It is not a good thing to train more race activists, who will
hate their country and anyone who doesn’t “look like them.” I don’t want my tax dollars being used to fuel hate and division disguised as racial justice to turn my grandchildren into the kind of bigots that I want them to avoid. If we care about CA, we simply must unite and
steady the ship. There is a nonpartisan middle in CA who don’t like what they see happening to our state. Let’s call a meeting of the board on Twitter, Facebook, our churches, with our neighbors - Asian, Black, Latino, White and all others, and let them know that we ain’t happy.
