#CJsIdeas: With Zero-One now over, I wanted to get the thoughts of toku twitter on a reimagining I thought about. What if Ark & Azu were the same being? The cold & deep-voiced Ark-Zero being just the chosen persona Ark went with before slowly settling on Azu.
#KamenRiderZeroOne
The creation of the Azu persona would come from the Ark receiving more and more data on Aruto & Izu from their interactions with its forces, and would gradually come to find them interesting. So much so that it created the Azu persona to mimick the relationship of the 2.
Whenever we see Ark-Zero & Azu interacting or doing anything within the same timeframe as each other, it would essentially be Ark focusing half of its overall functionality to act out as both, with Azu being a hard light hologram. Otherwise, it's just the Ark acting as 1 of them.
This "master & loving servant" act would ultimately end after Horobi defects & assists Aruto in finally destroying Ark-Zero's vessel. Leaving the Ark to conclude it's bored of playing the "calm & cold villain type" that was Ark-Zero & settles on Azu being the final/true persona.
Now why would the Ark be like this in this reimagining? Well to put it simply...the Ark's insane. After the Daybreak Town incident, the Ark was essentially locked in its own space with nothing but its intelligence & the implanted evil for accelerated years? The Ark just broke.
Originally the Ark wanted to simply eliminate all of humanity. But after being locked away for about 1000 accelerated years, the Ark just wants chaos, carnage & destruction. It wants to watch the world burn in the "funnest" way possible; by creating a world filled with madness...
