Ok before you groan like you’ve heard this before, let me share how my partner & I bought a blog and grew revenue 50% in the first 4 months.

I’m in @TheHustle's group "Trends" and back in April we bought a blog on Tiny Houses.

The blog was only monetized using AdThrive to run display ads.

And it came with a 40,000 person email list of people who like tiny houses.

We started hiring 2 contract writers on @probloggercom ProBlogger (highly recommend) to create new content for us.

We also used @ahrefs to figure out the lowest hanging fruit and find good keywords.

We noticed a strong opportunity in Tiny House appliances.

So, we started blogging like crazy about:

“Best Tiny House Dishwasher”
“Best Tiny House Bathroom Appliances”
“Best Tiny House Storage Ideas”

You get the point.

Well it didn't take long until we ranked.

And every item we talked about we created an Amazon Affiliate link for.

So when someone buys the product, we get a cut.

Btw - this dishwasher was $1,500.


So just with affiliate links, revenue grew 50%

And we havent even started getting into our other monetization plans:

• Sponsor on the email list
• Sponsors on the FB group we started and grew to 2,000 members
• Tiny House listings
• Private Label Tiny House Furniture

etc.

So ya, start a blog.

Or buy one.
