My Identity, My cleansing
Mark 5:25-34, Leviticus 15:25-30
Here comes the stride
I've taken all the ride
Only for all the appointments
Countless were the disappointments
I've got a file with very clinic
Yet a defilement to everyone near
Sterilization made all tools clean
Only a touch from me makes it unclean
Twelve years has been my journey
Twelve years waiting to alight from this journey
Hoping the warmth sun light will welcome me
But yet the discharge keeps me hidden from light
Beauty sometimes is described in a touch
A touch of gold could explain it all
Best you could get from my touch
A touch of separation and stigma
No more could I remember my name
My issue has become a my new name
How lost I was in my own identity
No glimpse of who I am
Long have I been hearing
A story of one whose wings are healing
His touch gave sight to the blind
His words gave life to the dead
Wrapped in my thought a desire to meet Him
Ensares by this thought won't it mar Him
His Heart were the most cleaned
Could a touch make Him unclean
The hem of His garment were closest to the ground
I could touch the hem of His garment
Perhaps it might be uncleaned
As I was already uncleaned
His itinerary was unclear
Drenched with thoughts been unclear
Which way would He be passing
The way will be my passage
Finally I heard he was passing
Thronged by the multitude while passing
Here is the moment I was waiting to see
How could I reach him in the multitude press
At the sight of Him my thoughts were for His hem
Only for a touch will I be made whole
Each step behind fidgeting to touch Him
Almost stampede behind but my hand was on his hem
Trembling, struck by His power
I was awestruck by this miracle
Then came the halts of his footsteps
Only for a request, who touched me?
Still trembling, I fidgetted towards him
He took me by His hands and call me my name
DAUGHTER, your faith has made you whole
I am His daughter, I am His Son - this is my identity
I am cleanse by Him
Much more than my cleansing
Was my identity revealed that I am is
I am a daughter - I am a son
Thank You JESUS
