It completely discounts how there are a large number of female hentai artists reclaiming their sexuality and how ahegao is used to show expression and get around jp censors
To claim it's roots started there when this person has no access to japanese literature that isn't even translated and dates farther back than what they "could find" is just
Also I feel like there's a huge disconnect with the person who made the thread and the people reading it at what "ero guro" even is. And to tie that in to stereotyping is so ... misguided.
I've seen daily witch hunts after my own and I just had to say something. I've seen such crazy stretches of the truth such as "ahegao puts Asian women in danger " IM SORRY WHAT? and doing "ahegao is racist" and equal to blackface
If you think ahegao is truly the problem. By that logic none of them would even support anime or manga as a whole. 🤪 but I don't expect much from people since the ones who attacked me didn't know the difference between lolita fashion and lolicon
