Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested under the #NDPSAct - but the #NarcoticsControlBureau is probably not going to ask the court for her custodial remand.
Erm.
In effect, the #NCB's case against her has crashed and burnt - because the entire drugs case is based on minuscule amounts of weed, or none at all.
◾#AbbasAliLakhani arrested with 46 grams of ganja.
◾#KarnArora arrested with 13 grams of ganja.
◾
#RheaChakraborty arrested with 0 grams of anything.
Neither Lakhani nor Arora was caught with what the NDPS Act defines as a "commercial quantity" (1 kg or more) of what it categorises as "hallucinogens": charas and ganja.
Both had a "small quantity" (up to 100 grams) of weed. Arora, in fact, was caught with a smaller quantity than that which the Central Revenue Control Lab states is required for 'sampling' by forensics.
The case was, at best, flyweight.

#ZaidVilatra and #AbdelBasitParihar, who were arrested on 3 August and had implicated #ShowikChakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager #SamuelMiranda and domestic help #DipeshSawant, have retracted their statements given to the NCB, and are out on bail.

Under Section 27 of the NDPS Act, if blood and urine tests show drug consumption, the maximum penalty for taking cocaine, heroin and morphine is rigorous imprisonment of up to one year; and up to six months for milder drugs (including weed).
If you aren't doped and have no drugs upon you, the case kinda collapses under its own weight of ridicule.
So, how does any of this make Rhea Chakraborty complicit of murder/conspiracy to murder/abetment to suicide or any homicidal shit?
It doesn't.
