✅Sectoral mobility of researchers, the acknowledgement of the value they bring into all the professional sectors and the support to their professional development are at the heart of the #EURAXESS initiative of the @EU_Commission in which FECYT participates
🔝Under the #EURAXESS umbrella, in 2019, we launched the mentoring programme REBECA-Researchers Beyond ACAdemia with the aim of putting young researchers in touch with professionals outside academia bit.ly/2PBxyW6
🧑🔬👩🔬We have matched for 6 months 46 early stage researchers with highly-skilled professionals linked to science outside of the academic research environment, to complement the support provided by their PIs with additional views and perspectives about their professional future
✅We received 255 applications from young researchers in Spain and abroad and more than 115 professionals offered themselves as mentors. It seems as researchers were interested in getting in touch with other professionals and the other way around!
