The late artist Yun Hyong-keun (1928-2007), primarily focused on monochrome painting & was known for his use of colors representing heaven & earth.

Also, quick fact!

When Yun took the entrance exam for SNU to pursue his path as an artist, he met Kim Whanki, who at the time was a professor at the university, & would become Yun's lifelong mentor, friend, and father-in-law.

Both artists, Yun & Kim are associated with the development of 'Dansaekhwa', a style of abstract painting that emerged in the 1970s in Korea. Maybe #Namjoon discovered the other artist while researching more about the topic. We may never know if we ask him one day!
