1. 'Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič called on the UK government to withdraw these measures from the draft Bill in the shortest time possible and in any case by the end of the month.'

No sign of ministers here backing down - this is a major bust up btw the 2 sides

But.... even some ministers admit the bill may well not pass through Parliament - so what happens then? All set for a very very bumpy and unpredictable time
