I live in Oregon and know people in the areas that are burning. The first two houses I lived in and the first place I worked in Oregon have burned to the ground. As an Oregonian, I feel hate toward the filth spreading lies that antifa set the fires

I'm not particularly fond of law enforcement, but they are right. There's no evidence, the shit people are posting are lies originating in 4chan and other swamps of the internet and the only people who post them are filth.
The Pallet Co fire they keep referring to as arson happened a YEAR AGO. There is a recent story because the paper revisited an unsolved arson that was a year old. There was a guy arrested for arson over the weekend. That fire preceded these and burned about 400 acres.
The Medford Police have not arrested seven members of antifa. This is a fake
The Molalla Police Dept needlessly fed this by posting about the need to keep an eye out for looters. Looting after a natural disaster happens. Some people on Twitter decided to screenshot that cutting off the line about looters, leaving it unfinished & presenting it as arsonists
They and the disgrace to humanity who said the Molalla Police wanted people to look for antifa arsonists nearly got these people killed.

Oregon experienced unprecedented windstorms that knocked down powerlines across the state. I lost power and when it went out there was an explosion as loud as a bomb. It made me jump, I bit my lip, I jumped so hard. There was no fire, but forests are not paved.
The power was out for hours, the internet was out until Tuesday afternoon. Those winds were amazing. And destructive. That is the cause of the fires, downed powerlines that sparked dry forests and high winds to spread them far and wide.
People want to blame arsonists because the real reason, climate change, demands something of us to prevent it happening again. Arson just requires locking people up, a popular American pastime.
There are some straws that these people built their strawman out of, a man arrested for firecrackers, a man burning near an oil drum, someone who did start a fire earlier, and so on

There is also a shit site of retired law enforcement and fans of law enforcement spreading rumors and misleading the public. For example, the misrepresentation of a year-old fire as this fire.
Lying liars and the lies they gotta tell because there is nothing they hate more than the idea of conservation and consuming less.
And yes, there are people like this but this is not the start of the forest fires. It's in the median by some guy who called it in-perhaps he's a pyro. They exist. Also, he seems to be BLM, not antifa, but then rumor-mongers never sweat details

So if you see these people spreading lies, shut them down. Report them, rebut them, whatever. It's dangerous and it's causing problems for the people who are fighting the fires because they are getting "tips" about antifa lurking
