1/Being confident in the primaries I conducted alongside the other committee members of the Edo State @OfficialAPCNg Governorship election primaries, my visit to Edo State afforded me the opportunity to further fuel my support for the candidate of our party.
2/The ancient city of Benin was agog and receptive when we stormed the Edo State capital to again, drum support for Dr. @PastorIzeIyamu , Esq, the candidate of our great party, the APC, in the forthcoming Saturday, September 19, 2020 governorship election in the State.
3/This time, we met with the leaders and members of the Igbo community in Edo State. We urged Ndị Igbo in Edo to vote @PastorIzeIyamu in and punish @GovernorObaseki of the @OfficialPDPNig with their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) by voting him out enmasse for obvious reasons.
4/It is unfortunate that @GovernorObaseki's tax policies, amonsgt other ill-conceived business policies are Anti-Igbo, therefore Ndigbo in Edo State should vote for a credible alternative in @PastorIzeIyamu and the @OfficialAPCNg.
5/We have many of our brothers and sisters who own businesses in Edo State, but those businesses are suffering today due to the various inhuman policies of the @OfficialPDPNig administration in Edo.
6/The @OfficialPDPNig is exhausted of ideas. Blackmailing the @OfficialAPCNg & alleging that we want to rig the election have remained the only campaign promise of @GovernorObaseki and his PDP. Meanwhile, in the order of reverse psychology, this is their exact intention & plan.
7/I urged our Igbo electorates in Edo State to go out and vote for the APC without fear or favour. They're assured of the protection of their votes and with the help of the security agencies and Int'l observers, Obaseki and his cohorts will be barred from rigging the election.
8/@PastorIzeIyamu is a tested and trusted public servant, politician and religious leader who can keep to legitimate and developmental agreements. So we trust him to deliver and continue from where Comrade @A_Oshiomhole mni stopped.
9/History has remained kind to the Former Gov. @A_Oshiomhole's administration. He was politically sensitive enough to carry the non-indigenous community along in governance through employment & appointment opportunities and it is expected that @PastorIzeIyamu will toe same path.
10/He will create an enabling environment for our people to do their businesses better.
Furthermore, I am glad to be honoured by the Igbo Youth Union (IYU) and the Youth Wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohaneze N'Igbo in Edo State at the event.
11/I dedicate this award to the peace - loving igbos in Edo State and to free, fair and credible elections in Edo State.
This is an honour done to the government and the people of Imo State in general and we are grateful.
