Thoughts on OU’s 48-0 win over Missouri St.

1.Seth McGowan is our RB1
2.Spencer Rattler has a chance. A chance. To be better than Baker and Kyler. No predictions. But man he can spin it.

9.Huge miss by OU SID to leave broadcasters uninformed on inactive player situations. They came across very unprepared and perhaps like they were trying to protect players. I was embarrassed for McKee actually. If I’m him, I’m paying Mossman or Houck a visit Monday morning.

10.OL still a work in progress. Look forward to seeing what Harrison can do. I know it’s game 1, but you should get 3 holds against an FCS squad.
11.Trayvon West might have earned some PT last night.

13.Yeah I’m still not over Chad McKee calling Stephen Johnson Gabe Brkic through the first quarter. How can OU’s own inside people not know this? Please, Joe C, I beg you, NO MORE PAY PER VIEW.
14.Stadium didn’t look bad. OU did a nice job of spreading people out.

15.How about Asomoah making plays. Linebackers are going to be a strength this year. Mark it down.
16.Still some positions up for grabs. Namely the position of lazy defensive lineman who fakes an injury late to score a timeout.

17.We probably should’ve had 3 or 4 takeaways but I won’t be mad since we pitched a shutout.
18.Overall, we looked crisp for a first game, especially knowing lots of players have missed playing time. We have a very special head coach and staff. Those freshmen are freshMEN!
