#CJs2Cents: This is the last thing I'm going to say on the Neath situation. Yes, the guy is fully free to block whomever he wants, I respect that. However, his reasons for blocking people-not liking their content or those they support-is incredibly extreme & quite childish.
#RWBY
I understand how personal RWBY is and how close he is to RT/CRWBY, what with being the mind baby of his late brother, he's working on it & he's an employee of RT-the company making RWBY-and all. But just because something's personal to you doesn't excuse it from criticism.
Art is a thing that exists for others to see, give their thoughts and feelings on. Criticism is the expected outcome for art and is practically part of the job description. Also, criticism doesn't have to be said with a certain tone, there just needs to be logic & reason present.
I understand there may be assholes who only insult but don't critique and others who say things you may not agree with, really I do as I've been there. But isn't shutting these people out with a wave of mass blockings a bit extreme? Why not just ignore them & go about your day?
And then on the subject of Hero Hei's stuff, I don't entirely support the guy as I agree & disagree with him in various arguments. However, Neath singled out Hei as being a liar and spreading false information, but never once showed evidence of this at all. So basically, the guy>
insulted Hei & didn't provide any reasoning to back up his claims. I'm sorry but isn't this exactly what he said he had a problem with earlier, what with people simply saying RWBY sucks and nothing else? Isn't he commiting the same acts he claimed to have a problem with?
And finally, why cast out people simply for who they support? Do I even need to say the issue here? So basically you have to mind who you interact with & how you interact with them for your relationship/connection with others. People are allowed to agree/disagree with whoever.
So yeah, that's all I wanted to say on this matter before I drop it. Roosterteeth really needs to invest in a better PR team because this is almost becoming comical with how many times this has happened with known figures in the company. Anyway, I'm out here y'all. Peace
