A Chinese company w/ links to Beijing's military & intelligence networks has compiled a vast database of detailed personal info of 2.4 million persons, incl. influential Western figures, w/ data from public sources and the "dark web". I am also in it. abc.net.au/news/2020-09-1…

Zhenhua Data's files include include profiles of the Queen, Prince Charles and the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex.

While much of the information has been "scraped" from open-source material, some profiles appear to have been sourced from confidential bank records, job applications and psychological profiles.

The company is believed to have sourced some data from the so-called "dark web".

"Information collected includes DOB, addresses, marital status, along with photographs, political associations, relatives and social media IDs.
It collates Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram... accounts, as well as news stories, criminal records and corporate misdemeanours."
