"Do NOT be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the PEACE of God, which transcends all understanding, will GUARD your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
This scripture is true🔥
Here's How To Deal With Worrying - “Try dey enjoy, problem no dey finish.”
The first time I heard this proverb presented in the Nigerian street parlance, I laughed my heart out and muttered, "Nigerians are at it again."
Thinking about it, I want to ask, have you ever been plagued with WORRY? How did it feel? Were you able to do anything? Was your heart rested? I'm sure your experience was awful.
I found a hack I'm sure would work for you, Phillipians 4:6-7. THIS VERSE IS POWERFUL! (I'm legit screaming). Pray, praise, tell God what's up giving thanks while at it.
I tried it sometimes this week and it worked. The kind of peace that flooded my heart is not something I think I can explain. My God!
Even if you're worried to a point you can't even pray, still, try to stay. Sing, dance, cry if you must, but stay.
That is when you will realize how it is that God can exchange your burdens for peace.
The problem might still be there, but fam, you will begin to see God with you, the peace will so bless your heart that you will begin to see a way out. You will begin to see just solutions.
Have I mentioned that the only way you can "enjoy" even in the midst of problems is having God on your boat? Fam, no material thing can give it to you, none.
What's the point of worrying though? It even further afflicts your heart and gives you panic attack over vanity.
Never forget, peace is not the absence of struggle, it's the presence of God.
As this understanding rests in your heart, drop a song in the comments. This week and beyond, we praise through the storm. Gloryyy🔥
