Generator Gawl has incredibly stylish opening animation! Lots of amazing, aesthetic shots with great colors, lighting and reflections.

I also really adore how spacious some of the shots are, with good sense of depth and scale.

It looks even better in motion, especially the second half, featuring some pretty good effects and fabric animation.
The opening was solo animated by Kazuto Nakazawa.

The first episode directed by Seiji Mizushima looks very good. I especially like the lighting, fun reflections, and interesting character framing.

Some really pretty backgrounds too

It also has a few quite impressive action scenes. Unfortunately, most of them happen at night, and since the DVD rip isn't exactly of the highest quality, it's sometimes difficult to see what exactly is going on. A pity...

Key Animation: Hiroyuki Imaishi (presumed)

Key Animation: Fuminori Kizaki

I also adore how fun and expressive character animation in general is. This scene where Masami gets ready to start her day while arguing with her mother is definitely one of the highlights.

KA: Kazuhiro Takamura

Oh, and the show also has a papercut ending animation, that is very unique and absolutely adorable!

Cartoons are good
