1/ As we sit on the cusp of another lockdown here in Ontario I can’t help but voice some concerns and opinions. First of all the federal and provincial leadership from the top down has failed miserably

2/ Borders and flights were slow to close down if at all when this virus was first detected. Top doctors including Dr Tam have flip flopped on basic outbreak procedures since the onset, as well as the CDC and the WHO. The subject matter experts have been anything but..

3/ We were told the initial lockdown was to “flatten the curve” so that hospitals would not be overwhelmed by the “expected” 60,000 plus critical care patients. Those numbers never materialized, and yet we’re still being sold the curve narrative...

4/ As of today testing standards have proven they cannot be trusted over HALF the time, yet the news has a constant ticker running showing active cases in bold numbers. This is fear mongering, and it is costing people their lives..

5/ Many small businesses have mortgaged their personal finances and property to make it through the initial outbreak, a second lockdown will wipe the out for good. Tens of thousands of people are at risk of bankruptcy and losing their homes...

6/ the reality is simply this, if you’re healthy and under the age of 70 your chances of shedding this virus is over 90%. Those that are at high risk should have strict protocols adhered to if they so choose.

7/ A blanket approach lockdown IS NOT the solution here. We are absolutely destroying our ability to shed the virus by hiding from it. People will get sick, 90% plus will recover and build antibodies for protection.

8/ No one is talking about the mental toll this is taking on Canadians, most of whom have barely enough savings to get through ONE hard month. The suicide rate over the last 6 months is never mentioned yet I hear about them all the time.

9/ We are not losing this fight to a virus, we are losing it to FEAR and negligent leadership at all levels. We must protect the vulnerable, while at the same time letting the healthy return to their lives..

10/ Turn off the endless media onslaught of fear and look around, be cautious, and be smart, but take your lives back. Everyone I’ve talked to knows nobody under the age of 80 who’s been in the hospital. If the news wasn’t telling you about CV19 would it even exist..?
