And it's important to say that this isn't happening only in the US.
In Brazil, I once had to explain in an interview what Auschwitz was, before I had the chance to talk about Faces of Auschwitz.
It's almost surreal.
In fact, this is one of the things that motivated me and Michael to launch FoA and then produce a documentary. We spent two hours on the phone talking about our experiences in two different countries, and we realized that it is pretty much the same. People have no idea.
What we do is very little when compared to everything that still needs to be done. But if every day we can make at least one person aware that this happened, I'm happy.
