#TPACT Inaugural Virtual Meeting Highlights:
#TPACT meeting scheduled for 17th September 2020 began at exactly 11am. Nigerians, home and abroad graced the live event.
The Unveiling began with an Opening Speech by the Covener @AbdulMahmud01 .
Highlights of the Convener's welcome address:
Today, we begin the journey towards the redemption of our beloved country, Nigeria. The journey of restoring hope and a dignified life to her citizens as the people come together (TPACT).
Today, we are all witnesses to the birth of a structured, coordinated movement of the people which will hold all tiers of government accountable to deliver good governance from the local governments to the highest office in the land.
As the popular maxim says, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step". Not just any step, but a step in the right direction. Over the years, We have in the quest for good governance and responsive leadership whined, wailed and lamented without reprieve.

We are therefore declaring the era of apathy over as we commence the historic people's movement with a clear objective to pressure the government to commence a culture of
✔️ Probity
✔️ Accountability

Consequences for actions/inactions through promotion of merit and advancement of objective superior argument over the hitherto bias of ethno-religious and nepotistic considerations.
The people, today resolve to leverage on our diversities as strength and no longer as a division.
We shall use the power of our numbers as concerned citizens, electorates to exert the true power of mandate-giver.
We shall actively mobilize compatriots to influence credible, competent, and capable candidates with unimpeachable character and compassion into political offices.
Pre Election: Orientation of electorates, advocacy for credible electoral process, objective and non partisan screening of candidates for elections etc
Post Election: advocacy for probity, accountability.
Enough of the TALKING. It's time to start ACTING.
