NYPD didn’t let today’s anti-ICE march take off. Within 5 minutes they started attacking protesters. Now there’s a standoff at Cortland and Greenwich.
Scanners reporting at least 15 arrests. Large corrections bus here. These folks were just marching down the street. But cops seemed angry that they couldn’t stop the anti-ICE protest yesterday.

These riot cops and other assorted cops are here for 100 peaceful marchers. The NYPD budget is bigger than most armies. Defund the police.
