“How long must we wait for men and boys to stop murdering us, to stop beating us and to stop raping us? How many rapists must we kill?" 10 months ago I said that on an Australian TV show. A bunch of white men complained and the episode was banned.
The Minister for Communications at the time issues a condemnation.
And now - 10 months later - the Australian Communications and Media Authority has been cleared of any breach. And STILL the ABC won’t put the episode back on iView because they’re COWARDS.
It’s a reminder that hypothetical violence against men is more disturbing than actual daily violence against women.
I will continue to ask: how many rapists must we kill before men stop raping us?

The ACMA also looked at complaints of “coarse language.” I said “Fuck” 10 times. They listed some of them. Can you imagine the discussions they had as they tried to figure out which “Fuck” was too much?!
