These #farmersbill are great Agri-reforms! We all know the nexus of Politician and middlemen would never want these provisions to be implemented as this will negate their hold on the APMCs, they will not be able to dictate terms and fix prices.
Bill is in favour of Farmers as Monopoly of Mandis will take back seat. The pain is about middleman losing power and control which opposition is maliciously projecting as pain of farmers. Why would a farmer sell crops in Mandis when they could get better prices outside Mandis ?
Before this change, Farmers could not decide where to sell their produce? They were forced to sell only to a certain nearby Mandi at the fixed price? They couldn't enter into Contract with Food processing companies to produce exclusively for them?
The #FarmerBill has lot of protection for farmer's like
1. No agreement for land.
2. If farmer cancel contract he can payback the advance on agreed timeline
3. No seizure of land many more. Just unshackle farmer
